So here it is, our second attempt at shooting our own engagement session again. The first time we shot our own engagement session, we used a tripod, but this time around we had our friends (code name bbh, and big-mac)
learned on the spot about photography and helped us fire away. Trust me–although it was a challenge to teach someone on the spot about the camera functions and composition, it was a hell of a lot more fun than the tripod.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos from the first session to share with you, except in hard copy format, but one of these days when I get a scanner I’ll share it with you. Why do we not have it in soft copy you ask? Well because the worst that can happen did happen–it was wiped out from our hard drive right when we were backing up the files (wahhh wahhhh).

your friends did a good job
i love the first two. is that a pond? i can’t wait to see the rest one day
It’s a fountain/architecture structure. The water is only 1-2 inches shallow =P
Can’t wait to see the rest one day? Lol, it’s hard coaching on the spot, so these were the best one out of ~1000 pictures.
booooo. i’m never helping you again j/k…i’m sure it doesn’t matter how bad the pictures are, you guys can just use those photoshop skills to fix them up. I think Cel took all these lol.
Thanks to Ed and Cel for taking Sunday off and photographing our e-session. You guys did a great job for beginners! Lets do it again if you are up for it! Lily and I will show you more technique we have up our sleeves.
